POWER, SPIN AND REACH. The Paddletek Bantam TKO-CX is the extended-handle version of the Bantam TKO-C. It was developed with top pro Christian Alshon, and the 12.7mm model is the paddle he uses. It's built for serious players who want maximum power and spin, with extra reach to match.

Its hitting surface is PT-700 unidirectional raw carbon fibre, which grips the ball for heavy spin and gives a crisp, predictable feel. Underneath is Paddletek's Bantam polymer honeycomb core. The 5.75" handle gives you room for two-handed backhands and a longer lever, and the 16.5" overall length helps you generate more racquet-head speed at contact for more power.

Paddletek's edge guard protects the paddle from court scrapes and adds perimeter weight for extra stability and a bigger sweet spot. It's handmade in the USA.

Which core is right for you?

• 12.7mm: the most powerful option, with extra pop and a fast, lively feel. Best for players with a strong topspin game.
• 14.3mm: slightly softer and more forgiving, giving you more control and touch while keeping plenty of power.
